Amelia Gatacre is a photographer and visual artist whose work focuses on humanity’s relationship to the natural world.
She studied fine art at Chelsea College of Arts and paper conservation at Camberwell College of Arts London, and has worked for, among others, The Rijksmuseum, Pentagram Design, Jellycat and the BBC. In the 1980s, Gatacre was head of prints and drawings conservation at the Teylers Museum in Haarlem. Commissioned sculpture includes awards for the Literary Review and the Foreign Press Association, and her work has been published and exhibited in Italy, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
